The National Pensions Regulatory Authority (NPRA) has issued a directive to the Director-General of the Ghana Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT), Kofi Bosompem Osafo-Maafo, ordering the suspension of all processes for the sale of 60% shares of four SSNIT-owned hotels to Rock City Hotel Limited. Rock City Hotel is owned by Bryan Acheampong, Ghana’s Minister for Food and Agriculture. The authority issued the directive after closely examining the intended transaction.
