FARGO — The Baymont by Wyndham hotel in south Fargo is under new ownership.
The hotel at 1340 21st Ave. S. was sold by Lloyd Corp. and North Land Properties for $2.7 million to Comstock Land Company on Oct. 15, according to documents filed with the Cass County Recorder’s office.
The Baymont and its Alibi Lounge and Casino is now part of University Lodging LLC, which is a part of Fargo-based Comstock.
Scott Kjos, one of the owners of the hotel, said he and his partners are working through several decisions, including whether to rename the hotel. Also to be decided over time is whether to stick with the same franchise or change to another hotel franchise.
