Picket lines have been suspended at Boston area Hilton hotels and an estimated 600 housekeepers, front desk agents, and restaurant staff who have been on strike for more than three weeks will return to their jobs Friday, if workers vote to approve a new tentative agreement, union officials said in a statement Tuesday night.
Terms of the agreement were not disclosed. A ratification vote is scheduled for 1 p.m. Thursday, the statement said.
For the last 24 days, striking workers at the Hilton Boston Park Plaza and the Hilton Boston Logan Airport have been demanding higher wages and sustainable work hours in new contracts with their employers.
