The Moonraker Hotel in Trowle Common, just outside Trowbridge, is listed as up for sale for the price of £2.1 million, a reduction from the £2.25 million asking price it was originally listed at in September last year.
The hotel is being sold by its owner, Tudor Hopkins, of the Sleeping Bear Hotels group, and its sale would mean the group will have disposed of all of its hotels in the group.
In October last year, Mr Hopkins, managing director of Sleeping Bear Hotels, told the Times: “Yes, it would mean no more hotels left in the group.”
He runs the Sleeping Bear Hotels group with Lucy Hopkins, and two of them have made The Moonraker Hotel into a poplar location for weddings and other events.
