A trendy boutique hotel in Mexico’s Playa del Carmen will see some changes in the new year.
The all-inclusive Yucatan Resort, which opened in May of 2020, is set to become a European Plan (EP) hotel, PAX has learned, and as a result, the property will no longer be managed by Playa Hotels and Resorts, effective February 5, 2025.
The update was shared in a memo from Dean Sullivan, senior vice-president, commercial at Playa Hotels & Resorts, which PAX has viewed.
