Steel grey skies and plummeting temperatures; is there any wonder I’m dreaming of a holiday?

While the rest of the country draws up a Black Friday hitlist formed of kitchen appliances, personal tech and bargain presents to wrap under the Christmas tree, my eyes are firmly fixed on flight and hotel deals.
