In this message we inform you about the discussion with Booking.com about the second phase of the reorganization.
De Unie and the other trade unions had a meeting at Booking.com on Tuesday, April 22, 2025 with the representatives of HR & Legal. A delegation of the works council and executives were also present.
We first discussed the progress of the first phase of the reorganization at the ELT. This phase is proceeding as expected and so far without forced departures. A number of ELT members have already left with the VLS, there are also those who are considering their offer and for some this is not an option now due to illness or other special reasons.
Furthermore, we have considered the question whether the reorganization really had to be done in two phases or whether this could have been done in one go. Booking.com’s answer remains that the entire process was impossible to oversee from the top management…
