Amsterdam-based online travel company Booking.com’s business unit, Booking.com for Business, reported a 65% increase in room nights booked last year. Although fast-growing, the unit remains understated within parent firm Booking Holdings. This growth is supported by an exclusive partnership with travel management firm CWT, which provides Booking.com for Business with round-the-clock customer service, in addition to access to car rental, flight, and hotel inventory. With the anticipated acquisition of CWT by American Express Global Business Travel, it remains unclear how the partnership with Booking.com might change.
