AUSTIN (KXAN) — A WARN notice from the Texas Workforce Commission indicated that dozens of employees at the Expedia Austin office are being fired.
The notice said 64 Expedia Group Inc. employees would be laid off from the Austin office.
An Expedia Group spokesperson said in a statement the company will be “reviewing operations” this year, which it expects will result in 1,500 roles being impacted across the globe. They also said that “consultation with local employee representatives, where applicable, will occur before making any final decisions.”
