Expedia has unveiled an upgrade to its Travel Agent Affiliate Programme (TAAP), including Live Agent chat and enhanced payment options, as part of its ongoing efforts to establish its tech as the primary operating system for the travel industry. The portal is used by over 35,000 agencies in more than 30 countries. Expedia also plans to publish guest scores for its hotels later this year. Revenue in the company’s business-to-business division grew 55% year on year in the first quarter.
