This assistant will operate in both English and Hindi, designed to cater to a wide range of users across India. The GenAI assistant is engineered to provide personalized recommendations and itineraries, responding to natural language inputs from users. Its purpose is to streamline trip planning by offering immediate access to information concerning destinations, accommodations, and available activities.
MakeMyTrip’s new offering specifically targets “Bharat,” referring to tier-2 and tier-3 cities across India. The company’s strategy is to deepen its market penetration in these regions by addressing the needs of individuals who are booking travel online for the first time. The inclusion of Hindi language support is intended to serve users who prefer interacting in their local language, thereby enhancing accessibility and convenience for a larger segment of the Indian populace and making travel planning more seamless for this audience.
