The Uttar Pradesh Tourism Department has signed an MoU with MakeMyTrip to promote tourism in the state. The MoU was signed in the presence of principal secretary, Department of Tourism and Culture, Uttar Pradesh – Mukesh Kumar Meshram, special secretary, Department of Tourism, Uttar Pradesh – Eesha Priya, director, Department of Tourism, Uttar Pradesh – Prakhar Mishra, and MakeMyTrip representative Sameer Bajaj at Tourism Directorate, Uttar Pradesh.
The initiative aims to promote tourism and facilitate tourists in the state. Under the terms of the MoU, MakeMyTrip will work as a strategic partner with the government providing insights on consumer trends, tourist preferences and supply-side information, which will aid the department in future policy-making.
