A passenger has accused online travel booking company Travelstart of defrauding customers by refusing to reschedule cancelled flights. The customer had booked a return ticket from Nigeria to Canada. A fortnight after his arrival in Canada, he received an email from Qatar Airways announcing changes to his return flight and directing him to liaise with the local travel agent, Travelstart, for rescheduling or refunding. However, Travelstart allegedly denied to reschedule the flight. With airlines requiring Nigerians to pay for tickets in dollars, many Nigerians use services like Travelstart.
