
Cardiff Airport in Wales is expanding its destination network with the addition of package holidays and flights for winter sports enthusiasts to Salzburg in Austria for the winter 2025/26 season. Meanwhile, Spanish carrier, Vueling, is also increasing its frequencies to Malaga for summer 2025.
Following the success of its holidays to Chambery, Tour operator Crystal Ski is increasing choice for Cardiff Airport customers adding holidays to Salzburg with flights operated by TUI Airways. The weekly flights, operating on Saturdays, to and from Salzburg will begin on 20 December 2025 and will be on sale up to 7 March 2026.
Top ski resorts close to Salzburg include St Johann, Schladming and Zell am See.
