TUI’s summer bookings for 2025 are seeing a significant rise, with Mediterranean hotspots like Mallorca, Turkey, and the Greek islands dominating the German market.
Benjamin Jacobi, Chairman of the Board of TUI Germany, shared these insights today at the International Tourism Exchange during the ITB exhibition in Berlin.
“Vacations and unique experiences are more important than ever to people,” Jacobi noted, pointing to a growing interest in sunny European destinations. A recent survey by Appino, conducted on behalf of TUI, revealed that 43% of respondents preferred European destinations, with 18% opting for a holiday within Germany and 25% choosing international travel. Among exotic destinations, Asia ranked as the top choice.
