A TUI flight attendant was rushed to hospital earlier this week after falling from a plane.
The serious incident occurred on Monday afternoon at East Midlands Airport, when the unnamed crew member opened the plane’s door expecting the stairs to still be attached.
The stairs though, had been removed causing the member of staff to fall, according to Nottinghamshire live.
Emergency services were quick to arrive to the scene at around 4.30pm, with an air ambulance and the airport’s fire service present.
The woman was transported to Nottingham’s Queen’s Medical Centre for treatment. Her current condition is not yet known.
