German tourism firm, TUI Group, is selling its French airline Corsair to German investor, Intro Aviation. The terms of the deal have not been released however, Intro Aviation will take a 53% stake, with TUI maintaining a 27% minority stake and Corsair’s employee benefit trust taking 20%. Despite Corsair being a scheduling outlier for the group, CEO Fritz Joussen had previously stressed the importance of airlines to TUI’s service portfolio.
