Rabat – TUI Airways has announced the launch of its inaugural flight from Newcastle International Airport to Morocco’s Agadir.
The airline said this week that the new route is meant to offer tourists and travelers in North East England “convenient access” to Morocco’s “stunning Atlantic coastline.”
The new route will connect the two destinations twice a week, and will continue to provide its services throughout the summer season.
TUI said the new flight will provide holidaymakers the chance to experience “Agadir’s sunshine, beautiful beaches, and rich cultural heritage without traveling from other UK airports.”
“We’re thrilled to add Agadir to our growing portfolio of destinations available from Newcastle Airport,” TUI Commercial Director Chris Logan said, noting that Morocco is a primary destination that blends “exotic culture, beautiful beaches, and year-round sunshine.”
