An aircraft maintenance firm has secured a “long-term” carrier deal.
Willis Aviation Services has partnered with TUI Airways.
The agreement will see Willis oversee the upkeep of aircraft from its base at Teesside International Airport.
Bosses say the partnership will begin with “comprehensive base maintenance services” on two Boeing 737NG aircraft.
The tie-up comes just days after Willis agreed a similar deal with budget carrier Jet2.com to carry out in-depth ‘C-check’ inspections of its Boeing 737s at the airport, which is based on the outskirts of Darlington.
