New Direct Air Routes Expand Connectivity to Thailand
Several international carriers are launching new direct flights to Thailand, significantly expanding air connectivity from Europe, the Middle East, and Israel throughout late 2025 and into 2026.
Israeli and European Service Expansions
Arkia Israeli Airlines will initiate a Tel Aviv–Bangkok service operating twice weekly, commencing November 26, 2025. Concurrently, Air France will launch service from Paris to Phuket at a frequency of three times a week, beginning November 28, 2025. Virgin Atlantic is preparing to enter the Thailand market with a London–Phuket direct route scheduled to launch in October 2026.
Middle Eastern Regional Network Development
Etihad Airways has opened new connections to Thailand’s regional airports. The carrier operates Abu Dhabi–Krabi on a daily basis beginning October 9, 2025, and provides Abu Dhabi–Chiang Mai service four times a week from the same launch date.
