Statistics from April of the current year show that Bangladesh’s overseas credit card activity was primarily concentrated on India, representing 19.31%, or approximately Tk 979 million, of the total. As such, the argument appears to indicate that medical tourism, particularly towards India, is an important economic factor for Bangladesh.
