3.5 million tourists make their way to Cambodia for New Year’s Eve

Cambodia’s Ministry of Tourism (MOT) reported that 3.54 million tourists made their way to the country for the last days of 2024.

While the bulk of this figure was made up of citizens, the country also welcomed 50,000 foreign travellers for the New Year’s Eve revels.

The Provincial Department of Tourism’s Tourism Statistics Report shows that the total for 30th December was made up of 216,331 local tourists and 18,249 foreigners.

On New Year’s Eve, 31st December, the composite total surged with locals numbering around 3,271,734 and 29,011 foreigners.
