Cambodia Prepares For 9th River Festival Celebrating Culture And Tourism

The 9th River Festival of Cambodia is set to showcase the country’s cultural richness and natural tourism potential while attracting both local and international visitors. The event, themed “River Values: Connecting Culture and Natural Tourism,” aims to highlight local products, tourism services, and the unique charm of the coastal territories.

In his opening speech, Prime Minister of Cambodia emphasized that peace and stability have transformed Cambodia into a sought-after destination for tourism, investment, and trade in Asia. Since 1993, tourism has seen a remarkable growth, expanding nearly thirteen-fold and becoming the driving force behind Cambodia’s economic development over the past three decades.
