Cambodia’s tourism sector is making a remarkable comeback, rebounding to pre-pandemic levels with 6.7 million international arrivals in 2024, surpassing its 2019 figure of 6.61 million.
At the ASEAN Tourism Forum 2025 in Johor, Cambodia unveiled its vision to capture a larger share of ASEAN’s 123 million regional arrivals through a sustainability-focused tourism strategy. This includes expanding nature-based experiences, enhancing connectivity, and supporting small businesses that promote responsible travel practices.
