Cambodia’s tourism sector is experiencing a significant rebound, with a notable surge in international visitor arrivals in the first half of 2023. This positive trend is a key indicator of the country’s recovery and its potential to regain its pre-pandemic tourism standing.

The influx of tourists is being attributed to several factors, including the lifting of travel restrictions and a concerted effort by Cambodia to promote its rich cultural heritage and natural attractions. The government and tourism stakeholders are actively working to enhance the visitor experience and diversify tourism offerings.
