In the previous year, tourism generated USD 3.63 billion, accounting for 9.4% of the country’s GDP. The city draws tourists with its UNESCO heritage sites and a picturesque 450 km coastline. Leading source markets included Thailand, Vietnam, China, Laos, and the United States.
