The Embassy of China in Dhaka, in partnership with the Association of Travel Agents of Bangladesh (ATAB) and the Bangladesh National Museum, hosted the China-Bangladesh Tourism Promotion Conference on Tuesday (10 December) to strengthen tourism and cultural exchanges between the two nations.
Li Shaopeng, the cultural counsellor of the Chinese Embassy, attended the event, with Abu Tahir Muhammad Zaber, CEO of the Bangladesh Tourism Board (BTB), serving as the chief guest.
Fatema Rahim Veena, additional secretary of the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism, and Ireen Farzana, joint secretary of the Ministry of Cultural Affairs, joined the conference as special guests.
