“China Tourism Day” promotion event, co-organised by the Embassy of People’s Republic of China in Bangladesh, the Bangladesh National Museum, and the Association of Travel Agents of Bangladesh, was successfully held at the Bangladesh National Museum.
The event featured speeches from Li Shaopeng, Cultural Counsellor of the Chinese Embassy in Bangladesh; Md Kamruzzaman, Director General of the Bangladesh National Museum; and Abdus Salam Aref, President of the Association of Travel Agents of Bangladesh, according to a press release.
Over 200 representatives from the Bangladesh Tourism Board, major travel agencies, think tanks, cultural institutions, Chinese and Bangladeshi media, Chinese airlines, and Confucius Institutes (classrooms) in Bangladesh attended the event.
Counsellor Li Shaopeng highlighted the close geographical and emotional ties between China and Bangladesh, emphasizing the progressing bilateral relationship.
