All-inclusive resort operator Club Med held the first global event at its Lijiang Resort to help boost inbound tourism to China.
About 100 tourism trade partners and media attended the event, including from Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Korea, Vietnam and Belgium.
As well as the Lijiang resort, they also visited Club Med Guilin.
At Lijiang Resort, a host of activities were showcased both within and outside the resort.
Highlights of the region include sunrise over the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, Baisha Ancient Town and the traditional art of Naxi tie dye.
Guests from Singapore, Bangkok and Hong Kong can enjoy direct flights to Lijiang and Kunming.
Club Med presented China’s diverse tourism resources by integrating its “Premium All-Inclusive” package with the local culture and leisure activities of the region.
Currently, Club Med operates 10 all-inclusive resorts in China including Lijiang.
