Hong Kong authorities will initiate large-scale land disposal to develop new tourism and recreation areas for the first time in years, with three major sites identified, including one on Lamma Island that the government says could be turned into a marina for super yachts.
The Development Bureau invited expressions of interest on Wednesday for ecotourism development proposals for the quarry site, South Lantau Eco-Recreation Corridor and Pak Nai and Tsim Bei Tsui in the Northern Metropolis.
