The Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) hosted the Hong Kong Convention Ambassador (HKCA) Appreciation Night on 20 May at Rosewood Hong Kong, an event honouring ambassadors from 12 sectors for securing 70 conventions for Hong Kong. These events will attract an estimated 70,000 high-spending visitors.
The event’s theme was ‘Driving Success Together, as One’, and featured a panel discussion with industry leaders who brought significant world congresses to Hong Kong. Participants included Ms Angela Yau Shing-Yam, director of Hong Kong Harp Society; Dr Janice Tsang, oncology specialist and clinical assistant professor at the University of Hong Kong’s Li Ka Shing Faculty of Medicine; and Mrs Vivian Cheung, chief operating officer of the Airport Authority Hong Kong.
The Appreciation Night celebrated achievements across various sectors, including innovation and technology, arts and culture, sports, education, social services, and tourism and hospitality.
