30th November 2024 – (Hong Kong) Hong Kong’s tourism sector is set to benefit significantly from a new policy allowing over 10 million residents of Shenzhen to apply for multiple-entry visas to the city, effective this Sunday. The new arrangement permits unlimited visits within a year, although each stay is capped at seven days.
The announcement was made by mainland authorities, who also confirmed that the previous “one-trip-per-week” visa applications would no longer be accepted in Shenzhen, although holders of valid visas can continue to use them.
