NAIROBI, Kenya, May 11 – Kenya and China have agreed to work together to promote tourism cooperation between one another.
The pact that was unveiled during the China-Africa (Kenya) Culture and Tourism Promotion and Cooperation Fair seeks to deepen industry cooperation and enhance people-to-people exchanges.
Deputy Director General of the Hunan Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, Shang Bin, who spoke during the event, underscored the role of the fair as a channel to enhance premier tourist routes.
“The aim of the fair is to release high-quality tourism products with Kenya as the core, and organize cultural and tourism enterprises from China and Africa to conduct matchmaking negotiations and sign agreements on project cooperation. We want to also build a bridge of friendship between China and Africa, and boost cultural and tourism,” he said.
