In early February, when I was entering a hotel on Waterloo Road for a lunch buffet binge, I saw a group of elderly foreigners lining up with their luggage on the pavement, probably waiting for their transport to the airport. After lunch, as I was leaving, I saw many other elderly foreign couples strolling back to the hotel.
These well-dressed retirees must have chosen their holiday destination carefully. Clearly, our chief executive’s efforts to keep Hong Kong safe, prosperous and attractive are paying…
