With reference to the letter, “Driving tourism is as simple as focusing on Hong Kong’s unique appeal” ( February 4), foreign visitors seem to be quietly coming back to town.
In early February, when I was entering a hotel on Waterloo Road for a lunch buffet binge, I saw a group of elderly foreigners lining up with their luggage on the pavement, probably waiting for their transport to the airport. After lunch, as I was leaving, I saw many other elderly foreign couples strolling back to the hotel.
