MasterChef Australia will be returning to Hong Kong for the first time since season one 15 years ago, filming three episodes in the culinary hot spot, which is home to 77 Michelin-starred restaurants and over 15,000 dining establishments.
Traveling in association with Hong Kong Tourism Board and Cathay Pacific Airways, MasterChef Australia judges Andy Allen, Poh Ling Yeow, Sofia Levin and Jean-Christophe Novelli, and this season’s home cooks will experience the city’s cuisine, and flavors on offer, with the filming set in iconic landmarks.
The Tourism Board said the three episodes, apart from showcasing iconic landmarks, will also feature the city’s unique street food culture and Michelin-starred restaurants.
One of the judges Andy Allen said the filming has brought him to Hong Kong for the first time.
