In a bid to revitalize Hong Kong’s tourism sector, a number of supportive measures are to be introduced in the upcoming budget, including a monthly firework display and a redesigned multimedia light show “A Symphony of Lights”, according to sources.
Sources said the Hong Kong Tourism Board will be tasked to organize themed activities such as city walks and night runs, allowing tourists to pursue in-depth travel experiences in the city.
The plan also includes monthly fireworks displays and drone performances over Victoria Harbour overseen by the Tourism Board, with estimated costs in the hundreds of millions.
A daily multimedia light show “A Symphony of Lights” will also be redesigned to stay current with the latest trends.
