About two-thirds of travelers from Hong Kong favor night journeys to steer clear of daytime crowds and fully embrace the idea of “nocturnal tourism.”
According to a survey by Booking.com, 71 percent of respondents preferred “darker” travel destinations as it indicates the inclination toward nighttime or early morning exploration fosters a deeper connection with nature.
Moreover, more than half of Hong Kong tourists are willing to book accommodations without lights, contributing to reduced light pollution and wildlife preservation.
