India has temporarily shut down 27 airports in the country amid rising tensions with Pakistan. Besides, around 430 flights too have been cancelled. Many airports in the northern and central–western parts of India have been closed down.

The airports that are temporarily closed are Dharamshala, Hindon, Shimla, Gaggal, Gwalior, Kishangarh, Srinagar, Patiala, Amritsar, Jaisalmer, Jammu, Leh, Jodhpur, Bikaner, Pathankot, Halwara, Jamnagar, Mundra, Bhatinda, bhuntar, Ludhiana, Chandigarh, Bhuj, Keshod, Kandla, Porbandar and Rajkot.
