Bomb threat suspect arrested before boarding Air India’s UK flight from Kochi

On June 25, 2024, a 29-year-old passenger named Suhaib was detained by Cochin International Airport police in Kochi, India. The passenger, booked for an Air India flight to London, was suspected of sending a bomb threat to the airline. The Malappuram resident was acting suspiciously at the airport prior to the flight, drawing the attention of airport authorities. After interrogation by police, it was established that Suhaib was indeed behind the bomb threat. He is currently in police custody and further investigations are ongoing.
