Several countries including France, India, Russia, Poland and the United Kingdom have warned their citizens against traveling to Israel, amid Iran’s expected response to a terrorist strike by the regime on the Iranian consulate in the Syrian capital earlier this month.
During a speech in Tehran on Wednesday, Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei said the Israeli regime “must be punished and will be punished” for its deadly strike on the Iranian diplomatic premises on April 1.
Ayatollah Khamenei said, “The evil Zionist regime committed another mistake … and that was the attack on the Iranian consulate in Syria.”
The French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs on Friday advised its citizens against traveling to Israel, Lebanon, the occupied West Bank and Gaza.
