Global mental health report: Top 5 leaders; UK second-worst, India at 61st
As previously reported, a recent mental wellbeing report has designated the UK as one of the most miserable places globally, except for one other country, according to findings deemed ‘worrying.’ Uzbekistan has taken the unfortunate lead as the world’s most miserable country, with the UK closely following in second place. In contrast, the Dominican Republic has claimed the coveted title of the best in the world’s wellbeing charts, as outlined in a global report raising concerns. Given the lingering impact of the COVID pandemic and the challenges posed by the cost-of-living crisis, it may not be entirely surprising that Britain did not secure a top spot on the wellness list. However, the extent of the UK’s unfavourable ranking is indeed alarming.
