Under the partnership, Goa’s tourism department has become the principal sponsor of Ironman 70.3 India, reinforcing its commitment to supporting sports events in the state. The triathlon race, spanning 113 kilometers, has been held in Goa since 2019, attracting participants from across India and 50 other countries.

Highlighting the importance of sports tourism, Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant emphasized the state’s focus on promoting sports-related activities.
