Gulmarg is experiencing extreme snowfall! As per meteorological department official in Srinagar, the city received 12.4 mm of rain within 24 hours, with temperatures dropping to 2.0°C compared to the previous night’s 5.8°C. This temperature was 1.0°C higher than usual for this time of year in Kashmir.
Gulmarg witnessed heavy snowfall, accumulating 40 cm (nearly 16 inches) during this time period. Temperatures dropped to minus 2.8°C, 4.0°C above the usual for this famous skiing resort in north Kashmir.

On the other hand, Pahalgam, a renowned resort in south Kashmir, recorded 18.6mm of rainfall, with temperatures dropping to 0.8°C, 5.2°C higher than usual.
