Three senior office bearers from IATO, Mr. Rajiv Mehra, President; Mr. Ravi Gosain, Vice President; and Mr. Sanjay Razdan, Hon. Secretary, met with Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, the newly appointed Cabinet Minister of Tourism, Govt. of India, at his office as a courtesy call and to offer congratulations on his appointment to the position.
The Minister of Tourism, who is highly accommodating, conveyed his keen interest in understanding the causes behind the decline in international tourist arrivals and offered the full backing of the Ministry to facilitate the expansion of inbound tourism to India.
