Non-stop flights between India and Perth are expected to be a priority talking point for the Deputy Premier as she heads to Delhi and Chennai tomorrow on a tourism and trade mission.
Rita Saffioti will meet with key Indian airlines to reinforce the demand for direct travel between India and WA, as the State’s second largest market which remains unserved by an ongoing non-stop flight.
A tourism stakeholder event will be hosted by the Deputy Premier and attended by key travel businesses from across the Indian market to help position Western Australia as a desirable holiday destination for Indian travellers.
