The Himachal Pradesh government is working towards building sustainable tourism infrastructure with the help of private sector companies. According to the Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation (HPTDC) Chairman, R S Bali, the development is being implemented through public-private partnerships (PPP). During a conference on business opportunities in Chandigarh, Bali further stated that Himachal is a safe, peaceful tourist destination with significant potential.
