Indian travellers are increasingly prioritising sustainability, with 75 percent of them adopting more sustainable habits in their daily lives. Additionally, 93 percent are determined to make their upcoming trips more mindful and environmentally friendly. 76 percent of Indian travellers acknowledge the environmental impact of their journeys, with 73 percent recognising their impact on the natural environment, 62 percent on local economies, and 50 percent on local communities. They seek destinations that support local businesses and embrace diverse cultures while offering opportunities for walking, cycling, or using public transportation.
