India’s eight Union Territories and why you need to visit them
Currently India has eight Union Territories – Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu, Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh, Chandigarh, Delhi, Puducherry, Lakshadweep, and Andaman and Nicobar Islands. They collectively represent India’s diverse geography, culture, and heritage. These regions showcase a wide spectrum of landscapes, from serene coasts to rugged mountainous terrains. Each union territory possesses its own unique charm, whether it be the tranquil backwaters of one, the vibrant cityscapes of another, or the remote island paradises dotting the Indian Ocean.
