Jaipur: Before finalising its medical value travel (MVT) policy, which is due to be launched soon, health and medical education department officials held a meeting on Wednesday with stakeholders from private hospitals at Sawai Man Singh (SMS) Medical College here. The meeting was chaired by secretary (medical education) Ambrish Kumar.
An MVT cell will be established soon to implement plans related to medical value travel in line with the policy and an MVT portal will also be launched, officials said. Experts from the medical field suggested making regulations more accessible and investment-friendly to encourage private medical institutions, they said.
