Following in the footsteps of countries like Mauritius, Thailand, Sri Lanka, and Jamaica, Iran recently announced a new policy granting visa-free entry to citizens of India. Effective from February 4, 2024, this waiver aims to promote cultural exchange and boost tourism. As part of a broader initiative, the waiver has been extended to 33 countries, including the United Arab Emirates, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, Brazil, Mexico, Japan, Singapore, and Indonesia.
